JHAH ramp up efforts to further improve patients’ satisfaction

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) Integrates Real-time 'Patient Voice' and 'Employee Voice' Intelligence in Improvement Strategy

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH), well known for its leading quality culture in Saudi Arabia, announced a new initiative with Health.Links, regional representative of Press Ganey, the leader in patient experience and health care performance improvement. Health.Links will be supporting the implementation of Press Ganey’s Patient Voice™ and Employee Voice™ for JHAH performance improvement efforts. This global collaborative initiative is a natural step to drive outcomes-based quality improvement strategies.

Seeking an optimal patient experience for its community, JHAH will integrate the Patient Voice™ solution to acquire real-time actionable feedback and optimize improvement priorities from a patient's perspective. By creating ongoing feedback with health care providers, patients will have a sense of empowerment, control, and engagement in their care. This also provides an opportunity for JHAH’s leadership to benchmark performance against both regional and international health systems and institutions.

JHAH will also administrate another unique solution to leverage the voices of its employees. Through Press Ganey's Employee Voice™ solution, JHAH will be able to focus human capital initiatives, prioritize systemic change, inform work unit interventions and align employees around organizational goals and business strategies. This will also give JHAH the opportunity to develop integrated matrices linking patient and employee satisfaction at unit and departmental levels.

Health.Links made its debut this year by representing Press Ganey’s innovative suites of solutions in the Gulf region, making these solutions available for the region’s forward-looking health care organizations. Such solutions are now considered best practices in the health care industry. Press Ganey is recognized as a pioneer and thought leader in patient experience measurement and performance improvement solutions for more than three decades. Early adopters of its best practice strategies found measureable performance improvement across multiple metrics including patient engagement, and physician alignment.
